"now" uses the time of your PC, not the Travian time!

The Travian map is not a ball, but a Torus. In North-South direction as well as in East-West direction one crosses the map border from 400 to -400.

Tournament Square: For the first 20 fields the units march with normal speed, for the remaining fields with a speed increased by 10% up to 200%. The merchants are not faster. For the Boots of the Mercenary add 2.5 tournament square levels, for the Boots of the Warrior add 5, for the Boots of the Archon add 7.5.

In speed rounds units and merchants walk with double speed, with the speed artefact only units are double as fast. In test rounds higher speeds can occur.
